About the Spartanburg County Peaches

Launching in 2026, the Spartanburg County Peaches are bringing a new era of summer baseball and entertainment to the Upstate of South Carolina.

The Peaches join the Blue Ridge League with a mission to combine highly competitive collegiate baseball, creative ballpark fun, and a brand rooted in one of the region’s most iconic symbols.

The team will play its home schedule at Jim Everhart Field in Inman, with 20+ home dates each summer featuring theme nights, local food and drink, family activities, and plenty of surprises. Games are designed to feel like a minor league experience, paired with the relaxed charm of a summer evening in the Upstate.

Why “Peaches”?

Spartanburg County, and Inman in particular, sits at the heart of one of the most historic peach-growing regions in the country. For generations, peaches have been a symbol of the Upstate—representing hard work, summer traditions, and a deep connection to the land.

The Spartanburg County Peaches celebrate that heritage with a brand that is both classic and bold. From the orchard to the ballpark, the name reflects a sense of place that is unmistakably local.

While many teams across the country lean on unusual nicknames, the Peaches are built around something real—an identity that belongs to this region and this community.

What is the most exciting thing about bringing a team to Spartanburg County?

Jim Everhart Field provides a great setting for the game, and Spartanburg County offers a strong mix of community pride, youth sports, and regional energy.

This is an opportunity to create something that feels both new and familiar—a place where families, friends, and fans can come together on summer nights and build lasting traditions around the game.
