Peaches announce FUZZY as team mascot name

The Spartanburg County Peaches have a name for their new mascot: Fuzzy.

After a fan naming contest, the Peaches officially introduced Fuzzy on Saturday as the newest member of the team. The contest winner has been notified, and Fuzzy is already getting ready to bring plenty of energy, smiles and peachy spirit to Inman Mills Park this summer.

Fans can meet Fuzzy and the rest of the Peaches on Opening Night, May 30, as Spartanburg County begins its inaugural Blue Ridge League season.
